To me, a skull symbolizes death. This piece represents the death of all my insecurities that made me who I once was. It symbolizes a rebirth to the person I am today: confident and strong. It includes a lot of color because my life now has so much more life than it used to and I wanted to show what was underneath all those insecurities and worry the whole time. My color, my happiness , my joy was ready, waiting to be discovered.
